WHERE WE STAND
The Broncos (1-1), who have played both games this season at home, will head to Ann Arbor, Mich., for their first road trip of the season. WMU opened with a 76-63 win over Davidson in the opener, where the team came back from a halftime deficit. In the latest game against No. 21 Michigan State, the Broncos had a five-point lead with under 1:00 to play, but the Spartans came back to escape with a win in overtime. Following the game with the Wolverines, the Broncos will head to Kansas City, Mo., to compete in the UMKC Plaza Lights Classic against UMKC and Eastern Kentucky.

Breanna Mobley, who was named the MAC West Player of the Week and the College Sports Madness MAC Player of the Week in the opening week, and redshirt junior
Marley Hill have been key for the Broncos this season. WMU is +30 against its opponents in points in the paint through two games this season, while Mobley and Hill are first and tied for second on the team in scoring at 17.5 and 15.5 points per game, respectively. Mobley leads the team in rebounding at 9.0 per game while Hill is tied for second at 6.5.

WIMBY IMPRESSES EARLY
Sophomore point guard
Deja Wimby has played extremely well through the first two games this season, averaging 8.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game. She leads the team in assists and is second in rebounding. She set a new career-high in assists (8) against Davidson in the opener and recorded her first career double-double against No. 21 Michigan State with career-highs in points (12) and rebounds (10).

Senior
Meredith Shipman is now 12th in career 3-pointers made (106) and fifth in career 3-point field goal percentage (.361). She has now had multiple 3-pointers made in eight straight games dating back to last season, with two against Davidson and four against No. 21 Michigan State this season. She is tied for second in the MAC in 3-pointers made per game (3.0) and is sixth in the league in 3-point field goal percentage, but is the only one among those top six that has attempted more than 10 3-pointers.

The Broncos own the all-time series 17-14, with the Wolverines. UM has won the last three meetings and 10 out of the last 11 overall. The last time the Broncos defeated Michigan on the road was Dec. 3rd, 1983 where WMU came away with a 76-65 win. The last meeting was Nov. 23, 2014 in Ann Arbor, where the Wolverines won 74-47.

Michigan, who comes into this game at a perfect 3-0, boasts the highest scoring offense in the country at 105.7 points per game. The Wolverines, who are receiving votes in the latest USA Today Coaches' Poll, have scored 101, 107 and 109 points in the three games this season, respectively.
