KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Heisman Trophy Trust has notified Western Michigan quarterback Zach Terrell that he is receiving significant attention from around the country and will be thoroughly considered for the 2016 Heisman Trophy, given to the most outstanding college football player in the country.

Terrell's inclusion for consideration for the Heisman adds to an ever-growing list of accolades he has received this year. He is a semifinalist for the Wuerffel Award and is also among those being considered for the Manning Award and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Off the field, Terrell has been named a member of the 2016 AFCA Good Works Team and was named a National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete.
