Bronco Hockey Receives Votes For Third Straight Week

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan hockey team is receiving votes for the third straight week in the United States College Hockey Online Poll, as released by USCHO.com on Monday afternoon.

The Broncos dropped two hard-fought games at No. 3 Denver over the weekend and received five points in the poll, marking them unofficially 28th. On Friday the team fell 3-1 and then again on Saturday, 4-2.

Western Michigan hosts Miami, who received 15 points in the poll to put them unofficially at 26th. Both games are scheduled for 7 p.m. starts on Friday and Saturday. Friday's contest will be broadcast live on American Sports Network and tape-delayed on CW-7 in west Michigan. Saturday's game will be live on NCHC.tv.
