KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Western Michigan men's tennis team will send four players to their respective Flight Championships on Sunday morning, following a successful day two of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Invitational at West Hill Athletic Club.

Freshman Kennosuke Nouchi went 2-0 in Flight One and will face Lucas Andersen of Ball State in the Championship while freshman Jannik Opitz earned a trip to the Flight Two Championship against Thomas Caputo with two wins. In Flight Four, senior Daniel Loebel will face Ville Fridell of Buffalo in the Championship while sophomore Nick Schnobel will face Ethan Nittolo of Buffalo in the Flight Five Championship. Senior Matt Hamilton, junior Billy Heckman and sophomores Matej Svjetlicic, Eric Olivarez and Kris Knof went 1-1 on the day.
The MAC Invite will conclude play on Sunday morning with one round of singles starting at 8:30 a.m. Entrance to all home tennis matches is free of charge.
