Team Decker Evens up the Fall World Series, 1-1

KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Team Decker defeated Coach Maher in game two of the Western Michigan baseball team's Annual Fall World Series to even the series up at 1-1; Game three will take place on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m. at Robert J. Bobb Stadium.

Nic Laio earned the win for Team Decker, pitching three scoreless innings while Chris Modrynski suffered the loss for Coach Maher. Tyler Frank led Team Decker on offense, reaching base all four times he came to bat and finishing 2-2 with two doubles and two RBI. Nick Vogelmeier hit a solo home run for Coach Maher while Alex Goodwin added two hits. Grant Miller added a double for Coach Maher.

Saturday's game will be fan/parent appreciation day, attendance to all home baseball games are free of charge.
