WMU stormed out in the opening set, gaining a 10-3 advantage to start and finishing the set by scoring 11 of the final 13 points after Buffalo (2-19, 1-7 MAC) cut the lead to within one point. The duo of Sydney LeMay/Nicole Kinser combined for 10 kills and two block assists in the set.

In the second set, Buffalo owned a 13-9 advantage to open, but the Broncos were able to come back and grab a 23-22 lead. The teams traded points to finish out the set until Olivia Kofie had a kill to put WMU up one and a Bulls attack error finished the set to put the Broncos up 2-0. Kofie finished with five kills in the set while LeMay added four and Kinser/Alysia Baznik each had three.

In the third set, the Bulls jumped out to a 12-2 lead and were able to hold on to make it 2-1 WMU.

In the fourth and final set, the Broncos jumped out to an early 4-1 lead but the Bulls came back to tie it at 12-12, but never took a lead in the set. A big kill by Kofie ended the game and secured the win for the Broncos. Kinser finished with five kills in the set while Kofie added four and LeMay had three.

The trio of LeMay (16), Kinser (15) and Kofie (12) combined for 43 of the teams' 62 kills while Baznik added nine. 62 kills by WMU was the most by the team since Sept. 9 vs. Xavier. Each team finished with 7.0 blocks and the Broncos narrowly had a higher attack percentage with a .220 to the Bulls .219.
